The glass sliding doors to the balcony give great natural light during the day. There is no overhead lighting in the main living area. When it gets dark outside, you need lamps on lamps on lamps, or the apartment will be dark. The closet is massive. It's great to have a second room - I treated it as a separate office. Great for productivity Keep in mind that there is no microwave and washer dryer 3 min walk to a laundromat . Maintenance requests are answered quickly
Heating Electricity
The arctic blast -10 F showed me the shortcomings of single-paned windows The inside of the windows frosted up. Windows rattle loud with wind gusts, kept me awake my first night in the unit . Electricity bill goes way up in the winter cold 110 .
Entertainment, Food, Noise
Being in the Ville, you have great walkable access to food and fun If you want some peace and quiet, though, you may not always get it, until after 2 am. If you want to get some fresh air, of course the noise will get louder City park is right across the street if you want to go for a walk or play sports. Close enough to walk to K-State campus - business building is closest and engineering building is farthest.
